Profile – Peter Hartgerink
Peter Hartgerink, lead consultant with ROC Consulting Inc., is a senior Oracle PL/SQL systems analyst, designer and developer with a broad range of experience. Peter is familiar with all phases of the project life cycle – identification of business functions and requirements, functional design, technical design, development, testing, deployment, production support. His project experience has encompassed issues affecting both the front end (presentation, user interface) and back end (business logic, database objects, stored packages and procedures) of Oracle PL/SQL application systems.
This breadth of experience enables Peter to make a strong contribution to any Oracle application development or support team. Notably, he has considerable experience with data modelling; data transfer processes using PL/SQL; implementation of application business logic using PL/SQL; data warehousing; and customized implementations of the Oracle eBusiness Suite (aka Oracle Financials/Oracle Applications). He has also done some work with MySQL, WordPress, Joomla and PHP, and has successfully completed several small database-driven web sites using the Joomla CMS.
From a technical perspective, Peter’s greatest strengths are in PL/SQL, data modelling, SQL, Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle Designer and Oracle Forms. His work is characterized by strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong documentation. A team player who is also able to work independently, he is articulate, self-disciplined and thorough.
